If you got this ZC from a teg it wont bolt right in, the mounts are different. I "believe" its just the driver side mount that needs to be swapped with an a6 one, not 100% sure if thats the only one though. And as long as you use your stock tranny that came with the car you can re-use your axles, you dont need aftermarket ones.

i dont think he can use the crx ones bcuz he will be making alot more power than a stock crx would.

I've run my ZC at the track with my stock axles 20 or so times, plus daily driving, 206k miles on them with no problems, you either have bad luck or have rough launches. You wouldnt happen to use autozone axles? Theyre hit and miss on quality. I'd say 90% of people who do ZC swaps use stock axles, even turbo or sprayed guys use em, course thats getting on the edge but many have no problems.

I see not point in buying a D16A1 with diffent mounts then a civic, 115hp and god knowns how much torque and then putting it in a civc. Good luck on finding a ZC crankshaft, cams and pistions by them self's, if you want more power that is.

Save your $300 and save up for a 88-89 ZC with civic mounts 130hp and 109lbs tq
If your going DOHC and staying D-series do it right and just get a ZC.

Why use the Integra tranny? It has longer gears which means higher ETs. Get an 88-91 Si tranny and bolt that biatch in there. Shaves up to .5 off ETs on some ppl. Unless you plan on highway racing :/. As for the stock axel thing, I have used my stock axels on my DOHCZC for a year or so and I have had no problem, and I have blown a differential apart. - Darrell

I am using the DX tranny, cause the trans mounts are the only ones that dont line up. If u use the DX tranny = problem solved. I was wondering if anyone has done this, cause I need some help to get it running by next week....let me know.

BTW: the hatch is a DX
