help..what is the difference of the cx and dx hatch 92-95 and Can i put a k20 em. Cant find the help
Which one would be better cx or dx. Since i want no options and plan to strip and swap. PLus i need k20 power ..can it be done?

yea the cx is known to weigh less. i got a vx and its pretty light too. no power anything gotta love it

cx is the lightest of all eg's also the dx will have a molding on the outside of the doors while the cx doesn't

the mouldings are factory options. completely, 100%, bottom-line cx = no mouldings
get the cx for no other reason then it is the lightest !

CX is the lightest EG, mine weighed in at 2130 with full interior (including the spare and jack and tools), and extra full set of springs and struts in the hatch, and 2/3's of a tank of fuel. My 94 has no side moldings??? :shrugs:
The K20 is an incredible motor, I've had the opportunity to drive an K20A2 powered EK hatch and it is amazing for being N/A.
