Cam timing for minimal overlap? general guide please.

right now my cams are set for both slightly advanced. I did a dyno tune before and I had to recently do a headgasket swap. at any rate how should my cams be set to achieve minimal overlap, and yes I'm going to the dyno again.

on a N/A car the overlap helps to scavenge the exhaust gas out and mantain as clean air/fuel as possible into the cylinders
on a boosted engine, during the time both valves are opened, it caused boost to escape to the exhaust stream.....(less air in the cylinder)
