Default A/C compressor question

I bought a remanufactured compressor on ebay. The compressor got here via UPS. I got it out of the box and for some reason the pulley looks like it wobbles side to side. Its not the bearings, kind of like it make have been dropped or was like that before they rebuilt it. Will it work like that?

Might work, but that doesn't sound good.
Might eat up the bearings and do damage to stuff.

Send it back.

I've been wondering the same thing!!!!!! I've asked this question a few times on here too. Is it the compressor brand that starts with an "M"? I went to the junkyard to get another, but all of them have a little wobble. When I hooked it up on my car, it wold scrape against the clutch part on the compressor and make an annoying noise. I'd really like to know this also!

Yea so is mine. What I meant above is that all the matsu's had wobble, while the other brand didn't. I wonder if they're suppossed to be this way?

I installed the compressor and when the a/c is off you can hear a pulsating scraping of metal. But when the clutch is engauged it does not rub. also it seems when the rpms are higher, it doesnt look like its wobbling. Thats wierd.
