yea, that one does, but that one is for EK Civic. thus far, all of the JDM engine torque dampers for DC2 and EG do not fit because the master cylinder is in the way (LHD vs. RHD). Some people have modified the brackets of the torque damper (ie. made a bit semi circle in the bracket to clear the booster) to get it to fit

Thats alright I have an EK. now all I need to do is worry about getting a motor that would have the need for an engine dampener.

I remember seeing these guys in the issue of Import Tuner with the yellow carbon fibered out S2000 on the cover. May have been the June Issue. Though they say they only make them for Civics, I'm sure they will fit in a DC-2. Here's the link:

It's supposed to work as a torsional flex dampener caused by the crack shaft. When you gun the car off the line, it wants to rotate out of the engine supports. Ever see a big hp V8 with the hood up...and the owner is revving the **** out of it. Notice how the engine looks like it wants to rotate free and just spin there? These dampeners try to eliminate that, along with new motor mount bushings.
It all coinsides with the whole "drive train loss" issue. If you can eliminate the engines tendencies to rotate around during high rpm launches, your car will be that much more responsive. No time will be wasted for the engine to return to it's normal state in the bushings. I think engine mounts and these dampeners may be a good investment for all you big HP guys out there.
correct me if I'm wrong....just my $.02 worth.

I have a K-One damper fitted to my ITR, there are no vibration problems and to be honest i dont know if it does much at all...other than look pretty....

beware of ebay engine dampeners, my friend with a S14 240sx with a SR20 swap bought one of these, it lasted about a week and a half before the seals on it blew and it started leaking oil. We decided it would be more effective if we put a hydraulic hatch strut in there insted
