Motor problems
Alright, it turns out that I have the correct ECU. The two codes I was throwing were 17 ( VSS ) and 21 ( VTEC System Failure ).
Took care of code 17 and after a lot of tedious poking around and looking **** over, I found out that I had the JDM O2 and VTEC wires crossed.
Switched those to where they should be, check engine light is gone. Took the car up the street and around where VTEC engages I don't really notice a difference at all.
Something I did notice is one time when VTEC should've engaged, the left turn signal light turned on, but very dim, and the tach needle kinda dogged a little and then jumped to were it should be.
I'm low on gas and the motor was not yet at operating temp.
All wire to wire connections for the VTEC side of the harness are twisted together and electrical taped, not soldered.
Any help?
