Hasport mounts and linkage ACT clutch, AEM intake, ITR intake manifold, CTR intake cam, ITR exhaust cam, crower valve springs and retainers, Ferrea valves, DPR headwork, stock headgasket, Wiseco pistons, Eagle rods, Golden Eagle sleeves, punch it out to 84mm, and enjoy a 1.9L B16a
RUH ROH!

Have you SEEN Dan's work firsthand? NICE!
If he can put a SR20 naturally aspirated to 200 MPH and set a world record, he can Clean up my Honda's head anyday. Not really Port work, just a nice clean polish, valves, and all.

Best B16a setup? Well that depends... I take it you're looking for all motor? And still streetable? And not going to cost an arm and a leg?
CTR/ITR cam setup (or skunk2, depends on your wallet)
Skunk2 Intake manfold
STR cam gears
CTR Pistons
Crower Connecting Rods
AEM CAI
DC 4-1 Header
Tanabe, DC, thermal, or Greddy exhaust
DPR headwork (heard good **** about them)
Skunk2 dual valve springs/titanium retainers (or ITR springs, crower retainers)
Fidanza Flywheel
ACT 6 puck kit
Over bored TB (jg, itr, bbs - they all work well..)
An LSD would be a good idea as well.....
Then of course, upgrade your valves, and fuel/ignition systems, get a VAFC and a chipped ECU.........
Thats what I was gonna do until I decided to go turbo.....

I would just go with some Venom injectors, adjustable FPR, and hi-flow fuel rail.
As for ignition, MSD or Crane make pretty good stuff, get some good wires and NGK plugs.....
Basically you want a big hot spark to combust with alot of fuel and good air flow....

what about the spoon cabels:
Are these any good. im thinking about getting them but i dont know if they are wortht the money.
And for fule delivery i was thinking about:
SARD Fuel Pressure Regulator w/ Fittings

But i dont know anything about it.
From Inlinefour.com site
Spoon High Tension Plug wires with Ground code.
Maximize your HP gains with these ultra low resistance spark plug wires from Spoon. Just like their 100% silicon blue 8mm NGK's, Spoon has released this new design with a steel braided cover and an individual ground, unlike conventional spark plug wires with ground codes to various valve cover grommets. These wires have very low resistance at a mere .09 ohms. Talk about increasing ignition power.

And these plugs to go with the wires:
spoon iridium spark plugs
Ever wondered what spark plugs Spoon uses in their race cars? Look no further, we've brought to you the exact iridum plugs used by the infamouns Spoon Racing Team. These plugs will give more spark power than your traditional platinum plugs. Available in either temp. 8 or 9.

I was looking at some others times with their B16a's.....mine with DC header, homemade intake, homemade exhaust ran consisitant 14.4-14.5 on street tires. My car was 2550 with me in it. If I was doing an allmotor B16a....
ITR cams
Skunk 2 manifold
Skunk cam gears
Mugen thin layer headgasket
Portflow Head work
JDM ITR 4-into-1 header
AEM cold air intake
Greddy Exhaust
64mm throttle body
RC 270cc injectors
Walbro 190lph intank fuel pump
euromotive adjustable fuel pressure regulator
Then do all the suspension. Sways, coilovers, shock, bushings.....
That should mid 13's on street tires in a crx/civic.

I only ran my car at the track on hot days <Yes I'm an idiot>... In my Mustang I've seen up to 3/4 second differences in 1/4 mile times from weather.
If my Civic went 14.1 I'da been shitting my pants... during the winter, It sincerely felt that fast.

Combos incl. mine are in many past threads, but I am pretty much like 90 Hatch with my rec.s:
CTR pistons
portflow head (www.portflow.com)
ss valves and valvetrain upgrade (Crower)
ITR cams - good bang for the buck
ITR TB & manifold, although del sol good too
skunk2 cam gears
STOCK injectors
+/- fuel rail like AEM and FPR like AEM
AEM Cold Air Intake
PR3 ECU with Mugen clone
Clutchmasters 4 clutch and flywheel
These should prob get you about 170 HP to the tire & I have taken my 91 EX 4 door that also weighs >2550 with me in it to a 13.98 @ 99.04 WITHOUT the cam dialed in yet last month at MIR/Budd's Creek.
As my synchros are bad & I await install of CM4 clutch, possibly a 13.6 to be had with this. I think that 400 lb. diet like in a HF CRX it should be able to go 13.0 or even as good as 12.8 but you are gonna have to have suspension to take the hit of some crazy launches - mine are up to 8k....
