Low mileage 2001 SH or Mid-mileage 2000 base
Like the topic says.
2001 Prelude SH with 10k Miles $19000
or
2000 Prelude with 50k miles $16500
Is the SH really so much trouble that I shouldn't go for it? And reading all this you guys have got me worried about that transmission, if it goes on the SH would it be easier or harder to replace than the base? I won't blow the transmission, I'm worried that maybe it wasn't treated right by the previous owner.

i meant pulls you into the turns. i found a 45k miles for 13000 in SH and can't find anything wrong with it...maybe ill drive down there and take a look, thats cheaper than any base models too. So if this car checks out do you all still say go with the base when its cheaper than any base model i've found?
I came across my SH in a wierd trade for my 72 mercedes 350SL, The guy was a older friend of mine and had the lude, and owed me a little, so here it is. Now, it does have a couple of things going for it, but now that i'm building my boosted engine, I have had nothing but a hard time with it. Now I have to find a tranny and do the conversion. It spun a thrust bearing and now I need a crank and one new main cap. Go with the Base. It's alot easier to upgrade in the future.
