Default in need of some help guys...:\

heres the deal..... turn the car over... nothing.... maybe if im lucky i'll get some clicking sound when turning over the car... or it will just turn over and do nothing..... im really getting tired of jump starting my car everywhere i go.....
car starts perfect when i jump start it... and i dont want to lose a arm and a leg at the repair shop... if it's something stupid and easy. ... i probaly could have searched.... but im in need of some info now.. i have work tomorrow.... and if not... i guess im busting out the skateboard to work. brand new starter... brand new batt.... thinking it's the alt. but would it be the volt reg.?....

i had the same problem with my b16. it turned out to just be a bad alternator. no big deal. my car did the same thing, just a clicking noise when i turned the key. battery was dead because the alternator wasnt charging it. new alternator fixed the problem....hope this helps

Also check you battery terminals. Sometimes if they are corroded it will cause a problem like that.

First I suggest checking your battery terminals. Make sure they are corrosion free and making proper connectivity. Next Check your ground on your battery. Grounds cause way more things then you think. Then Check the ground and positive connection to your starter. This is a popular reason why cars won't start. Finally, I would go with what deliciousrex said, except check the output of your alternator before you put on a new one. Make sure it's working properly and producing proper output. If you are still having problems post back, but one of those causes is probably the reason your car won't start.

Take the car to a parts shops ( karegen, autozone, etc. ) Have the test the battery and alternator. I think it's free of charge.

most of the time when the alt goes bad the battery light on the gauge cluster will come on is that coming on when the car is running ...
