before you drop your H22 jonx in, hit up a better clutch and a lightened flywheel... then grab your standard I/H/E, cam gear, V-AFC, then go to a dyno and tune! that should get you started.... then you can start thinking of more fun things like a LSD, FI and/or NOS, et cetera... and don't forget suspension tuning...

where do people get the money to do this kind of ****? why not invest a few less dollars and learn about the car and be better off than 75% of other Accord owners off the bat.

But mad mad horsepower yo be kickin ***** azz yo!

hehehe. Sorry.

I agree though. People should learn why they are doing what they are doing, and know exactly why they are adding a part. If someone adds a header, they should not just know that it gives more power, but why it does.

Maybe it would be wise then to setup a FAQ section of things one should and should not do in regards to upgrading components to add more horsepower. It probably would be very helpful and would take away the time that it takes to answer the same ole questions over and over again.

this has been suggested before but the search feature allows the question asker to do this on their own by searching first then asking for things they still do noy understand
a big problem is that a lot of what is suggested is opinion over actual performance. luckily enough this board offers a lot of very educated opnion's

alright first of all, thank you forced accord. one of the main reasons im switching the motor anyway is cuz the one in it now has almost 170K miles on it. so the natural choice, because i have the money, is to replace it with an h-22. and haha sorry white eg,(im not a girl racer) but the powerpuff girl is just a joke between a bunch of friends. its good to see you in the club though!
