It GC rules Question: Are finder liners ok to pull off?

Default It GC rules Question: Are finder liners ok to pull off?

When ever I am doing work on the fron of the car, these always seem to get in the way is there any reason on the race car wh I would want these? if not, can I reomve them? i have not been able to find anything in the GCR either way. Thanks!

don't know about the GCR, but this might cause a problem in the rain.

the electrical components in the passenger side of the engine bay can get wet, which isn't good.

rust might be an issue too. if anything, just permanently remove a few of those annoying clips, to speed up access to things behind the fenderliner.

Look in the section that defines rules for "bodywork." My GCR is in the race car but I think it is explained there.

if it doesn't say you can, you can't, and it doesnt say you can.

eventually they will get torn off and no one will care. in the meantime, i would keep them as they weigh next to nothing and serve a useful purpose.

what affect does this have on aerodynamics? seems to me taht a lot of air would be getting caught up under the car without the liners

Thats a great question... What, if any, aerodynamic disadvantage would this create? I owuld imagine that air could get caught up in there, but then again is air up there? Isn't it going underneath the car?
