Default compression check after 200 miles of light break in ???

I just did a compression check and my numbers are lower than they were before with my last rebuild. The compression numbers range from about 162-168 across all 4 cylinders. Before my compression numbers were between 180-190. Are these numbers bad? I'm going to get it tuned next weekend and i want everything to be as close to perfect as possible unlike my last experience.

I just talked to earl and he said that the piston dome clearances are different for the srp pistons (had previously) and the cp pistons (in car now) and that would affect the compression numbers. Would this cause a 15-20psi difference? Everything else on the car is pretty much the same.

dont expect great compression # from a motor with 200 miles on it.

i did a compression check after just idling it on the first start-up and it was 150psi so it has gone up. After about how many miles should i check the compression then? I should have 500 miles on it when it gets tuned this weekend. It was the light break in method.: Drive under 3k for first 200 miles then increase in 500rpm increments every 200 miles until 1000miles on motor, no boosting. I'm only going up to ~500miles though.
