what should compression numbers be on b18b1???????????

Default what should compression numbers be on b18b1???????????

I have a b18b1 thats running like **** now, so i am going to do a compression check on it. It has 8.5:1 pistons in it. what are good compression numbers on my motor????

w/ 8.5:1 I wouldn't be surprised if they were around 160 but as long as they are all withen 10% u r ok.

180-190 on 9.2:1 is about average. Ive seen some people get 200 though on a stock LS motor. GSR's usually get 200-220 w/ 10:1 compression.

before the charger was installed on my car my buddy did a comp check on my engine, 190 190 190 200 I think that the 200 was on the #1 pistion but I can't remember?
