Hi all, I am sure that some of your remember my old post about battery and /or alternator issue. I have gotten a new battery, unfortunately
my battery light still does come on whenever my rpm drop below 1K, so I assume that this is my alternator. How much would a decent alternator cost? Should I go to a junk yard or just get a new one and forget about pain? Thank you,

 

like $100 to 200 for a rebuilt from an auto parts store such as carquest,napa and such

Actually they are alot cheaper than that
$95.00 with a $50.00 core charge so your really not even paying very much

 

Ive got an alt laying around that came on my ZC swap....20 bucks and its yours

 

well,only if you think $5 is lot cheaper

 

how many miles did you have on that zc motor? will it fit my stock motor / wiring? thanx,

 

Get one from Honda or a junkyard or you'll be sorry.
