Default ran the r today

car went 13.5 @101 w/ 1.96 ft

im a bit disappointed... car was in full street trim "full interior" open header, sunoco 104 and 22inch slicks...

car made 207 to the wheels a week prior to running at the track... threw 310 injectors in this morning and did a little bid of "road tuning.. im sure it was running a little fat on the top end because im sure the car can trap a little higher.. next time out the car goes on a diet and will do some more dyno tuning.

13.5 with slicks sucks considering you have 207 whp.

whats the point of this post?

thats like me saying i took 50th place in a 50 person marathon when using riods.

13.5 = stock r times w/ slicks.

13.5 is weak... car needs a good tune and a diet.. on a 1.9 60 ft the car should have done alot better... but then again im running stock suspension as well... and as i said earlier... the car is running rich on the top end..

and i posted cus i felt like it.... you didnt have to read it or reply to it... so do me a favor and have a nice warm cup of shut the **** up!

launching anywhere from 5500 to 6000 1.9 60ft isnt to bad considering im running stock suspension... i pulled a 1.8 as well but the time was slower...

Telling me that the drag race forum will teach me to do it is a lot different then it actually happening, I highly doubt that a stock type R could hit 13.5 with slicks, shaving a full second of its stock quarter mile time.

I would think with the number of posts that you have that you would have some more knowledgeable comments......guess not...

you must have really been flat on the top end. u should easily be mid to high 12s with that set up.
