pic request - invidia cat back on 88-91 hatch
i was only able to find a pic of the actual exhaust... but im looking for one (or a few) actually installed on a hatch... and to hear from people who have them how they like them, how the fit is, what the sound is like. right now its a coin toss for me between this and the greddy... either way - im going w/ the horizontal mounted cans, im not a fan of passenger exit exhausts or rigging up some universal can under there
on ebay they run 419-479 plus shipping... most e-tailers have them for 499-545 plus shipping
the only thing that really concerns me is the sound - and how the angled tip looks coming out of the hatch.
the sound thing because its not a typical suitcase style muffler (long and oval) but more round and not so big - but it does have a resinator.

Looks like they wanted to be able to package it smaller so it doesn't have to ship truck freight like my Thermal had to be. Pllus it allows for easier twekaing if this part rubs the body, or that part rubs the sway bar, etc etc etc.
Looks pretty nice, but I don't like the angled tip. They're giving in to all the ricers that want big off angle cannister style fart cannons. I HATE ED chassis cars with Cannisters. They just don't belong.

About sums it up. I completely agree.
Thermal is about the best looking exhaust (next to stock) that I've seen on the 88-91 cars.
