Have to replace thermo switch. Does it tap into the water jacket?
My fan was has not come on since I did the B16 swap. I checked the fan.
It is OK. Checked the relay, Its fine. I jumpered the thermo switch for now.
I will have to order a new thermo switch next week. When I replace the switch I don't remember if the switch taps into the water jacket or just taps into the block. I don't want to drain the radiator if I don't have to.
Thanks

Pretty sure it taps the waterjacket. Just unscrew the old one and have the new one ready to go....when the old one comes out and starts to leak, just plug it with a finger and then stuff the new one in there.....shouldn't be too bad.
Make sure you have the new one teflon taped and all ready to screw in when you start.
Good luck!
