HELP: Lights Flashing
When I start my car, all of my lights flash; headlights, taillights, interior lights, what could it be? I was thinking maybe alternator but I'm not real sure.
I don't have an alarm, but I do have a system, 2 12" Punches and an 800 watt Punch amp, but I've never had the problem before. I guess I'll find out tomorrow if is my system when I take it out and put it in the navi.
Sounds like you're just asking for more problems. You should find out what the hell is wrong first before adding to another potential problem

How could I be adding to the problem by removing the system?

So I took my system out today, when it got dark I started my car and turned the lights on, they are still doing the dimming thing??
alternator belt squeeling, wet, anything of the sort? if it slips it will do the dimming thing. its possible that something is also shorted out.
what is your idle speed?
do u hav a/c?
does it happen even if you rev the engine to 3000 rpm?
Use contact cleaner on the harness connector located in front of the clutch MC and clean the poles of your battery.
Mine does it when all electrical load are on, including A/C and when I cleaned the battery terminals, it solved the problem. And also the lights dim when the motor idles below 500rpm.

A; Flashing lights indicate a breaker resetting = short circuit.
B; Dim lights indicate charging problem = loose belt or poor alternator.
C; Always rember, bad grounds will do the strangest things.
