extension to remove valve springs

i have the snap-on valve spring compressor that goes over the entire head but i can't seem to locate the extension piece that looks like a socket. here's what i'm talking about; http://www.c-speedracing.com/howto/n.../dsc00019j.jpg

guys! other than honda, where can i get that extension that honda sells for $20? and for those ghetto riggin' people, what do you guys use for the extension piece?

here's something that i made up since i got no response. basically it's a socket that i did some dremel work on.
