Default Help 97 accord starting troubleshooting?

To break it down I have a 97 honda accord 4dr lx, 4 cyl non vtec. I am having a starting problem. I can start the car, and drive to where i need to but then if i get there and shut the car off it won't start back up. It doesn't even crank over the engine all you hear is the starter. I thought it was the battery but when i checked it with my voltmeter with car off it read 12.63 volts. with car on it read 14. volts. so that all seemed ok. I even checked the voltage when the car wouldn't start and it was the same. This problem use to happen when the temp dropped in the summer. I thought that the battery didn't have enough could cranking amps to start the car.I looked at my cables and seen the were corroded along with the terminals. so i deciede to get new cables. has anyone had this problem before and can anyone solve this. the guy at autozone said it was the starter soleniod but i don't think it is. any help would be greatful.
