Now i know everyone (or close to it) hates obx, think they are ****, etc etc. But I can get this intake for really cheap and Im wondring if i should go for it. Right now Im running the y8 manifold and im not sure which one would be better. Anyone that has experience with gains, losses, fitment quality (we all know OBX isnt the best at that) etc. please leave a post

 

I think OBX is top notch even though people talk $hit about them. I have had my full exhaust system from them for over two years and the quality is fantastic. I never look at horsepower gains that are claimed by any company, Generally they are always inflated. Go with what you think is a realistic power gain and you will guess pretty close. The fitment on brand name stuff is not all that great sometimes either. Go with your best judgement, Call them and ask plenty of questions. If you do not get answers that make you happy then don't buy it.

yeah, i like obx too, good stuff without the expense of a top notch brand name.
