is it possible: VHT wrinkle paint on plastic (sparkplug cover)

I was planning to respray my sparkplug cover wrinkle black from VHT until I read the label that mentioned for use on metals (plastic?). Has anyone tried?

i think it will work. perhaps you can spray it on another flat plastic surface to practice on.
