I am installing a JL 250/1 and one JL 10W3. I cant figure out where to run the power wire through the firewall. I noticed a pre-existing grommet inside the engine compartment but cant see the wire come out on the other side. I have the pocket under the radio out and the other plastics in the center console are taken out. Took off the glove compartment and the driver and passenger undercovers too. I spent 2.5 hours looking for a way to run it. Gave up and found this site.

Any ideas on how to get the power wire through the firewall?

Man, installing on my '94 lude and '95 lx were a helluva lot easier.

Figured out the power wire situation. Just followed the huge group of wires from the engine compartment, through the rubber grommet, and fed it through. Had the dash, center console, rear seat, and other ***** taken out. Got her done though. Sounds good. Anyone need some install advice: running wires and how to take stuff apart w/out breaking *****, let me know.
