car is an 01 gsr
so i ran out of gas yesterday and the car died. i filled it up with about 4 gallons of gas. tried starting it.. nothin... figured it was the relay.. replaced the relay.. nothing... get my multimeter im not gettin power to the fuel pump. take the relay out of the plug... so i test the #5+7 (socket) on the harness that the main relay hooks up to.. and im gettin power to the plug. jump 5+7 and the fuel pump works.. have 40psi... so at this point im figuring its the main relay, maybe honda gave me a bad one so i get another and try it... nothing. so at this point im thinkin its something that is hooked up to the main relay not lettin the fuel pump go on.. idk anyone have any ideas.. im gettin so f*ckin pissed. and all i did was run outta gas.

 

Since you ran out of gas... maybe the fuel pump isn't primed up or runs long enough to pressurize the fuel line? It only runs for about 2 seconds when the key is turned to "run".

I could be way wrong, but it's a no-cost trial to turn the key on and off for a dozen times to see what happens.

 

tried turinin it on and off about 100 times... put on the fuel pump for about 30 seconds by jumping it.
