Found a 97 R FS only 772 miles
So I was looking into maybe buying another R, in addition to my 97R I already have, and I ran into this.

That is pretty nice to have a 97 R with 772 miles, but the price is just a bit high.

That price is just hilarious. This guy is insane, you could probably get a 97 NSX in good condition for that amount. A car with that low miles was probably sitting in a garage for 2 years undriven.
What a waste of a perfectly good car. There's my two cents just in case I didn't say that the first time around. I'd rather have one with low miles that hasn't been sitting.

It has been in storage since new. Original owner. All stock. Have window sticker. Showroom condition. No dents, dings, or scratches anywhere. Look at the pics and call with any questions. Serious buyers only please. </TD></TR></TABLE>
Funny how he's looking for serious buyers only, yet isn't so serious himself...
Maybe he could tell us what he's smoking, coz it looks to be 1st grade chit!

And probably has what mechanics call "lot rot." It's not good to let a car sit around like that without being driven once in a while.

That model probably has none of what you're speaking of... looking at the options list makes me think it's a very special car

There will be a time when that car will be worth 43k--just not yet.
If you think it won't be a coveted collector car, I think you'd be mistaken.

I couldn't help myself. I had to email that guy and tell him what a crack head he was. Serious buyers only? Please... when I saw $43,000.00 I could hear my ******* pucker.
I also agree that a car that has sat around that long, is probably not going to run properly. I wonder if he drained all the fluids when he stored it. Or put the car on blocks and let the air out of the tires.
That guy should be bitch slapped for letting a perfectly great car sit around seven years. I bet when he bought it, he thought he was making an amazing investment....guess what? The only appreciating asset a person will ever own is property/land.
I think it may cost quite a bit fix all the **** that's going to break when doing 70 down the freeway. Or something crazy might happen like the damn tranny decides to introduce it's self to the car behind you.
What do you think is the first thing to go? If the tires are the original ones, I say a tire blows out first.
Everyone should email this guy and tell him what a jack *** he is.
