What does this yellow and green triangle thing mean?

I remember the cool "JDM y0" kids at school had them but I never bother asking what it meant. Here's a pic of what I'm talking about.

One more question, who started the "option2" sticker fad? Never really understood it. I mean a good 70% of the people never seen a real option2 mag and 90% of the clowns who bought one cant read it.

The better one is the brown and orange tear drop, thats for elderly drivers.
