Default cx engine harness onto a d16z6?

Just picked up a d16z6 swap that was missing the engine harness. Is it possible for me to use the engine harness off of my stock cx engine? Is wiring vtec the only thing i have to do or is there more wiring involved??

using a p28 right? i believe just vtec wires and convert to 4 wire o2 p28 doesnt have a knock sensor.....if you have an older eg that has the vtec wires to the shock tower just swap a harness i think si harnesses are less than 100 bucks....

Yes you can use the CX harness but as mentioned you will need to convert the O2 wiring to support a 4 wire O2 sensor and add the wiring for the VTEC solenoid and pressure switch. If the car is a 92 no matter what model, the VTEC wiring will be embedded into the cabin harness so you will only need to add it from the VTEC solenoid and pressure switch sensors to the proper locations at the cabin harness plugs. If it's a 93+ then you'll need to add the wiring on both the cabin and engine harness.
