Well first of all the bolt was stuck on the LCA really frigen good, I was finally able to start cranking it with the socket wrench but the frigen bolt head snapped right off in the socket. (Cracked one of my neighboors Crafstman sockets too) We'll i figured there really wasnt any threads so i tried using a punch and hitting the bolt through. I was able to get it a little bit through but not enough and it just stopped moving. I then proceeded to bust out the recipricating saw and cut that nut right off.

We'll i then got the whole shock out but the frigen bolt doesnt want to come out of the metal sleeve inside of the Koni Shock. The car is an 88 CRX so it has the ITR rear suspension with the ball like Shocks. Theres a Small rubber bushing outside of the metal sleeve. I was wondering if i might be able to press it out and get a new one? Anyideas?

The blue circle is the bolt that is stuck in the shock and its cut off on both sides i dont think theres acutally any threading at all in the sleeve, although there might be a little.


Does any one know if there replacable? I've looked at the Koni site and really havent found anything like that. Is there anything else i might be able to use? Solid rubber busing? Im kinda lost, im worried if i drill it out i might end up offsetting the metal sleeve and screwing it up for when i install it with my GC's but it might be my only choice?
