b20vtec ek/el meets tunnel wall
Long story short, a street bike tries to pass me in a one lane tunnel on a turn and I end up on the far wall destroying my front.

I hate that too, but unfortunately, there wouldn't have been anything he could have done involving insurance. Imagine calling up the insurance company and telling them exactly what happened, that you steered yourself into a wall. Unless the other person bumped him into the wall there wouldn't be anything insurance or the police could do. That's what really sucks, among the fact he has to pay out of his pocket whether it be deductible or repair costs to have the damage fixed.
