What would you do?
If you checked the Classified forum lately you will notice that I am selling my ITR. I love everything about the car but I am going to sell it because I have my son with me and he is 10mths old and it is not quite the car for me anymore since it is just me and him. So I am selling it to get some bigger...4 doors are a must and I want to stay with something a little sporty so I am thinking TSX 6spd. I have only had my ITR for 6 months, I bought it used from an Acura dealership after my REX was stolen. You guys think I should just tough it out and stick with the ITR or face the fact that I need something bigger and move on. I am sure you guys will Flame me for this but I don't want to see it go.
The TSX is a nice car. It's still a sporty car, but more refined. I think Jr. will appreciate the smoother ride of the TSX. Also, should be a little easier to strap him in and more room for other things. It's up to you though. My sister has two kids and drove a 93 mustang....pain in the *** to get them in and out, but she liked the car and didn't want to get rid of it.
Edit: Honda Accord is also another option.

Evolution RS, STI, or IS300

Pull passenger seat handle, watch seat slide forward, put little guy in back, buckle baby seat, drive off. There's a guy with a '01 NBP in our local racing club and his ITR is his daily driver.

say goodbye to the ITR and MOVEON b4 someone steals it and leaves you carless.
get the TSX and ride in comfort and you won't have to worry about someone trying to steal your **** + it will be a much better ride and comfort for JR.

for the last couple of months my Jr. (20 month old) has been dropped off/picked up daily in the R b/c her Civic has been "disabled"...pain in the *** at first, seemed like a four-door was a must but I am getting used to it now.
I think it is a preference on wether to upgrade or not. IF your a big guy i could just imagine how difficult it is to get back there and deal w/ getting him in/out of the carseat b/c I'm only 5'6 and I barely fit back there.
TSX/Accord are worthy upgrades but I would not give up the R.Even though I test drove a friends 04 Accord EX and was in love w/ all the room
and its also fun when he's back there making "vroom vroom" sounds copying the exhaust
good luck on your choice

Absolutely. My newborn doesn't ride in my Integra. Plust those LATCH connectors on the new cars make installing a carseat a breeze.

I would get the Accord V6.
If it were me, I would get a child seat from Japan (either Aprica or Combi); the ones sold here are crap (you can thank Wal-Mart for that).

Is it going to be your only car? (i.e. you need it to be safe AND fun at the same time?)
If so, TSX or IS300 would be a good choice. I would prefer IS300 over TSX, but it's utlimately up to you.
If you have a fun car and if you're adding a car to carry your kid around, get a 3.5RL (the one that's about to be discontinued). Those can be had for mid $30 and they are super comfy and very reliable. They suck for fun, but at mid $30, it's a lot more refined car than an Accord, Camry or even the American made TL.

I've driven the newer IS300's and actually liked them.. I did not care for the first few years.. the push button techtronic automatic is even fun.. TSX is a nice car as well.. I liked the interior of it more than the IS300.. both are good suggestions though!

just get a $1000 accord and be done with it.
list the shitbox as your primary driver, get a cut on insurance, and keep the toy.
this coming from someone who until a couple weeks ago, had 4 cars.

I've had an Integra ever since my daughter was born. She's almost 2 now. I've never found the teg's size to be that much of a problem. I'm used to it now. Keep the R.
