ran the car last night without slicks 89 crx hf d16a6 with delta 262 cam.
setup
d16a6
delta 262 cam
gsr intake with k&n filter
generic ebay header
si tranny
2 1/4 exhaust all the way back
I'm just dumping the clutch at 3000 rpms if anyone is curious
i ran best of 15.4 with a 2.3 60 foot time. I think i could have done better but i only got 2 runs in and the second one 3 didnt engage right (tranny is messed up) and I ran a 16.0
Im going back again when i get a set of slicks. I mean I ran 14.8 before i put the delta cam in with slicks so I think i will atleast run a 14.7 with slicks.

Yeah, Josh(deftones0817) and I frequent Delmar and Cecil County. They are having a bracket race @ Delmar tonight and I might go. I have a Black 89' si hatch w/b18b. If you see me, come say "whats up".

nice times...only main difference in my setup is i have the y8 manifold, headgasket, and my head is ported/milled.
im curious of what you would rin with the slicks...making the only real difference between now and then - the cam

You are wrong! I guess only horsepower plays a role in ET's not traction or torque

i understand that torque, traction, and HP are all 3 key elements of a good ET, along with reaction and other variables. however, i just cannot see a car with MAYBE 110WHP running a 14 sec et.

if you would care to read, his is running a b18b which has.. guess what.. around 142HP. maybe you should try reading threads before you use them for an argument
HERE is the link showing the 142HP of the b18b, from the exact year model of his engine: http://autos.msn.com/research/...c=vip

#1: R/T has nothing to do w/ your ET's
#2: That is my hatch w/ a B18b in it and it does not have 142 hp! It is on a PM6 (88-91 si ECU) BTW! It also is running through a crush bent exaust, cat and stock muffler!
#3:Here is a link to the time slips(def's CRX w/ both of us driving). https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=901311

with 22 inch slicks
I have not ran the car with the 262 cam on slicks yet. But i will let you know what it does when I do. To many no believers in here. LOL

I see the slip. I ran a 13.9 with a 2.1 60' . still doesnt add up for me. but I cant argue with a slip either, although photoshop can do wonders.
