Default JDM SiR Hood

I am fairly new to the board and I am sure this question has been asked alot in previous posts but here goes.

Can I put just the SiR hood on my 90 Si. If not, why? Would it be possible to modify it to fit or would it be to hard.

i dont think it will fit cause the headlights might be different as with the radiator supports you should get a fiber images carbon fiber hood and paint it.

In order for the JDM EF SiR hood to fit correctly you need the whole front end... the hood and radiator support are shaped differently, and the headlights, bumper, fenders, and corner lights are all shaped to match them... it MAY be possible to fit it but i dont think it would come out quite right. there is someone making a carbon fiber hood for the USDM EF's that is shaped to look like the JDM SiR hood though.. i think it may be jdmhondaparts.com

OK, here is the answer you are looking for.
yes, you can put it, you can even make the US latch work with the JDM hood.
you need to slot the mounting holes on the latch so you can move it back.
the hood will overlap the US bumper by about 3/4 of an inch on the front.
Since the JDM headlights are about 1 1/4 inch longer, you will have a bout 1 1/4
inch gap between the hood and the inner edge of the headlights.
The fenders are the same, meaning the hood will line up perfectly fine
with the US fenders.
You do not need the JDm radiator support, the US will work just as well.

I know because I did it.
I have a complete JDm front end.

the bumper sticks out a little because of the convex shape of the JDM bumper
