What's up all,

I finally finished off completely installing my clutch master cylinder last night (1 year later...lol...long story) Anyway, I want to put the clutch pedal spring back in. Is there somewhat of an easy way to do this??

I tried it last night when it was getting dark. It looks like I need to apply A LOT of force to get it back in. However, there really isn't much room to do it. Before I do this, I want to see if there is an easier way.

from what I remember its a big pain in the ***. No easy way to do it.

 

I squeezed it before bringing it down to the clutch, then I used heavy zip ties to keep it compressed so it would be a LITTLE easier to put in.

That sure is one PITA to do by hand.

 

The trick is you put in the middle part of the sping in the pedal grove first and the left leg in its hole. Then press and hold the pedal down. The left spring is doing half the work now. You just have to put the right leg of the sping in its hole now. I used my hands, it was very easy.

I can't remember if I ever got the spring back in. Lol

I miss the car. I got rid of it in 2012.
