I recently purchased a Pivot Stepping gauge, now i know the black is ground, but where is the ignition switch wire for the red... and the red one is to the rpm wire? is it from the ecu? keep in mind my car doesn't come with a stock tachometer... thanks a lot for your help.

If you need an ignition source hook it up somewhere on your fuse panel that comes on only when the car is in "Run" and there should be a green wire that youll need to hook up to your engine.
