i have a 99-00 civic si (sir in canada) front lip that i want to install on my del sol. but near the edges the lip doesnt really fit. does anyone know how to fix that? someone also suggested to install the 92-95 oem front lip first and put on the other lip on top of it so it doesnt touch the bumper. does anyone know how to do that setup? please help me out cuz i really want this lip on my car but i just need to fit it on somehow. i know its been done and i've tried searching for it but had no luck. you can msg here or email me with details at purple_si@hotmail.com

you have to use washers, there would be a very little gap after you get the washers in and tighten it

yes i've seen ppl do the washer setup and i've seen azntagg's car... but i also saw the screw he on the lip as well....

has anyone tried heating the lip up and straighten it and then install it on top of a 92-95 oem civic lip so that it doesnt touch the bumper? i think i might try that and see how it goes.... all i have to do now is to find that other lip.... i'll let u guys know how it goes and prolly post some pics of how it looks after...

 

ar i forgot, you can also use double-sidded tape on the front of the lip for it to flush more into the bumper

u need to heat gun it
and mold it on

the lip is probably sticking out a bit on both ends so you'll either have to screw the lip directly to the bumper so that it's flush or you can stretch it out a bit on each end and use washers so that uses up all the extra slack in the lip.

using washers?im tryin to think where ur puttin the washers?in between the bumper and the lip in the fender well?
