Default Seat mounting/bracket fab question

Anyone here ever made brackets for a side-mount seat that bolted to stock sliders?

I know how to do it for a bottom mount. I could take that idea and modify it slightly but I wanted to see if you guys knew of a good way to do this.

Thanks!

Yeah because:

A) I can't weld
B) I am not paying someone else to weld
C) Aircraft grade hardware is as strong as a weld
D) I can adjust the position as necessary

We produce just sliders if you would like to purchase some and they are very cheap.

Yep

And I am not a big fan of paying people to do things that I can do other than for mundane things like oil changes.

Plus I am wierd like that. I am about to spend $160 on a "new" used header because I don't want to spend $80 to have the cracked flange welds in mine cleaned up and re-welded.

What seat and what car?

This is my 93 civic hatch and an kirkey road race sea with a kirkey side mount with too many mounting holes that I drilled up.

For my passenger seat, I have some custom made aluminum side mount that are made in the same shape as the sparco side mounts, except the base is much much larger to acommodate various slider spacings. I'm gonna sell them after I make something simpler. I'm going to do something like Dr. Cortez (https://honda-tech.com/zero...98655) did and take some pre-bent aluminumn and drill up some mounting holes.
