Default JDM LSD for 1.6 sohc

is there such a thing as a JDM stock factory lsd trans that fits 1.6 sohc motors? what type of lsd would it be? effective for road racing? thanks

If I'm not mistaken some ZC tranny's come with an LSD. They should fit the D-series engines.

yes, they do exist in cable trim...ZC SOHC Integra ZXi came with those trannies....it has a 4.43 final drive and LSD uses same axles as ZC, als ZC tranny can be used which came with LSD, but best to change to 4.25FDR.....

LSD which came with those trannies were viscous, the newer 92+ hydro d-series LSD trannies seem to be Torsen

thanks for that inf. will the trans fit into my 89 civic si chassis with original clutch cable set up? Can I use my stock axles? Thanks.

Yeah it'll bolt up and you can use ur stock si axles.

The zc lsd trannies run $250 and up. Expect to pay close to $400 for a good one.

I know this is an olddddddddd thread but I'm also looking into this - a good source to maybe find one of these trannys ? Let me know ?

Any aftermarket companys make LSD for sohc's - maybe quafie ?
