Well I have GC. I recommend them because they use Eibach springs. And you should know how respectable Eibach springs are. Besides they are comfortable for daily driving, but come alive in the twisties.

I have Skunkworks on my Civic (91 Si) with 400f/300r spring rates. It's pretty firm no matter what I set the Illuminas on. Nice in the turns but it's a little harsh for everyday driving. Don't get me wrong, it's tolerable..I've done it for 2 years but I would like something softer.

I also have GCs on my CRX (91 Si) with 350f/250r spring rates. I like these. The ride is quite a bit better. The single perch adjustment thing can suck on mah ballz though.

I have GC and the single perch is alot better than the dual perch. You can take it off with one hand. Loose the tool on the Skunks and you have to hammer the perches againt eachother with a screwdriver or something.

You can get custom spring rates for the skunks as the use a 2.50 ID spring, so it doesn't really matter.

I have GC on my hatch too. I love them they are combined with the nice riode of Tokico 5 way adjustables, and are great for those evil twisties that haunt a stock rides suspension. Get the ground controls you will be satisfied .

It's ok for lowering, but when I was trying to lift my CRX (GCs) back as close to the factory height as possible it took about an hour of gripping the collar with pliers, turning the perch with the Skunk2 tool, cussing and sweating.

That's what I get for trying to work on my car in the gravel driveway in July with a 20pc toolset.

i had skunk2's with tokico blues and it was a little bouncy for my taste at 1 3/4" drop so i bumped it up about 1/2" and loved it... still cornered like a MF and was a decent ride. its easy to get replacement tools, btw. most shops have extras laying around from kits they install

Do NOT get Skunk2s if you plan on daily driving it. I had them and the ride is very shitty. Way tooooooo stiff. Go with GCs.
