water in stock airbox?
Had torrential downpours today in my area and was forced to cross this stream that was practically a river. My car is lowered 2 inches with a stock airbox and a K&N filter. My car seemed to be bogging down so as soon as i shifted from 3rd into 2nd it seemed ok. The water was practically up to my headlights and I noticed for 2 seconds or so there was a screetching noise. When I got home i checked and the airbox seemed to be a little wet not too wet. I removed the radiator reserve and felt the filter was dry. Could any damage have occured or did my airbox avoid this rain. I drove it around a few minutes later and it seemed to be ok. Any input
