First B16a mod????

Default First B16a mod????

I am currently running a 91 Civic Si in the SCCA SoloII STS class with much success, but the engine is getting tired. So I figure its time to slide over to Street Mod and drop in a B16 SiR1 engine. I was wondering other than a good header what would be the next mod. CTR cams, intake manifold, throttle body, or something else???

Also is my memory correct that a 4-1 header is better than a 4-2-1?

<FONT COLOR="royalblue"> Only when it comes to Cheap DC Headers, the 4-1 design owns over the 4-2-1 on high end. But since you want it to compete, the low end torque provided by the 4-2-1 DC header ain't bad at all. A nice exhaust wouldn't hurt either. Type R cams are always a plus on a mild setup and if you want to invest on a IM, the AEBS is pretty good for the money. </FONT>
