Sparco EVO 2 or 3 for my fat a55? Or maybe OMP Big?
As title say I'm considering getting me a bucket seat for my ITR but also want to get one that fits me like a glove and still will be comfortable on long highway journeys. Car is currently my daily driver but it will be more of a weekend/track day car in the future so a good seat and a roll bar and a 5 point harness is on the list of things to ask Santa for
As i'm a big guy, I'm 5'11" and 250 lbs with a 40" waist, so the selection of seats is not all that great, I'm asking all you big a55ed guys what will fit me comfortably. Looking at the measurements of the Sparco Evo seats I beleive the Evo 3 is the seat for me and would sure like to sit in one before i spend the $$ but as that is not going to happen I want some advice from you. Another possibility is the OMP Big, anyone have one of those?

Try the Recaros out of an Evo 8. Plenty of room for my bigger than yours *** :-) Good on long journeys. There are probably some for sale on e-bay
I have a pair of the 3's in my civic... Lets just say I am "big boned"... 6'1" & about 250. The 3 is the only seat I could find that I was confident I would be comfortable in. And I am just that... very comfortable in terms of fit and support... The "big" might be your only other option.

Thanks, so a Evo 3 or aOMP Big seems to be my options then, the Evo cost a little more but is lighter too, i think it's 8 Kg's and the OMP Big is 10 Kg's. The Evo 3 is not FIA approved though, something the OMP Big is. Oh, decisions, decisions.....

i believe that you can make a seat FIA approved by getting a seat brace or a bracket. not sure the exact name. but it bolts to the seat and then is bolts to a roll bar/cage. that way that can make the evo3 approved. hope this helps.
Not sure if you would want one in your daily driver or not, but the Kirkey Intermediate is FANTASTIC. I was set on getting one before I ever sat in one just because I/O port sells custom tailored ones for around $100 more. Well on a trip down to OG Racing for some supplies I tried out every seat there. Let's just say the Sparco's aren't exactly made for the "portley gentleman". Well just sitting in an OTS Intermediate was heaven. I wouldn't overlook them. Of course I would mandate a seat back brace though. So probably not the best choice untill Santa comes.

I'm a big boy too at 5'6" and 235ish ~ 38in waist. I've got a pair of Evo2's in my weekend warrior and find them to be snug (i.e. not something I'd care to daily drive), but perfect for romps through the twisties y0! (sarcasm sarcasm) and for lapping days. I tried a Pro2000 and found it to be too snug. Hope that helps.
Sadly, I've got the same dimensions as you.
I've got a Momo Acropolis in my crx that just fits me - is perfect for autoxing, and I've taken many long trips in it.
Not cheap, but it does fit my "big-boned" *** very well. It's wearing very well, too (over two years now), since I seem to be hard on my seats, for some reason.

Another large seat is the Corbeau FX1. It is quite a bit bigger (wider) than the Evo 2. More info... http://www.soloracer.com/corbeaufx1.html
I've got a pair of black ones that a customer just returned... because they were too big for him. I can cut you a deal if interested. IM me for specifics.

Seat does look good but as I'm living in Norway shipping charges would own me on such a large item shipped from USA
But it is nice to know there are some options for us larger people too.
