Default MPG, or gas mileage on an FI h22 engine

I did a search, nothing. So i was wondering for all of you turbo/blown h22 preludes what your gas mileage is. I enjoy getting 25 mpg, but i want FI and i want to know how much its going to kill my mileage, id only want to run 6-8psi.

it'll kill your mpg, because you'll need to add more fuel to the engine with boost.

Surprisingly, from what i've heard from other sc'd and turbo'd prelude owners, you will get pretty good gas mileage if you don't romp on the pedal.

I have a gut feeling it greatly depends on what kind of fuel setup you plan on having, but having 450's tuned down via the afc, I can get 25mpg. The downside is city driving, where I have gotten as low as 14.5mpg. It's all about how heavy you are on the pedal, since driving on the highway long trip, you aren't even boosting.

I would think that if you don't go into boost too much, you can probably get decent mileage

Is it possible to turn down the boost on a turbo under 5? how low will it go? and what does "kill" mean, like 20 15 10? cause 14 mpg in the city is pretty shitty, thats what youd expect from a cobra or an srt. thanks for your help

Turn down boost under 5? 5 psi?...um yea, u can boost under 5 given the right wastegate spring, but why would you do that? I've gotten 14 mpg, but I do better most of the time, like 18mpg or so.

Either way, if you want to go FI, the gas mpg isn't something I'd overly concern myself with, it'd be everything ELSE that goes into having a reliable FI car.
