clicking from my steering column

My axles are bad (both) and I will change them soon when i have time, but all of the sudden now I have a click that comes from my steering column. The further I turn the wheel, the more clicks that I will hear. Anyone know what this might be? Thx

More specifically jooor CV joints are toast. This means new axles since replacing just the joint is a PITA.
