CODE 13... need help please???
Ok so i have the problem of my ecu throwing a code 13 "Atmospheric Pressure. I looked under my hood and i saw that the intake tube had fallen off so it was running straight throttle body. So i hooked it back up and reset the ecu. I then started up my car again and a few seconds later the Check light came on again throwing the same code. I looked in the FAQ section for the ef/crx and went to the service manual. it tells me what i should do but it doesn't tell me where exactly the PA sensor is. I've searched numerous times but can never find a definate location on the PA sensor or any other info as to what i should do to fix this problem. can anybody help me out?? thanks.
my reccomendation is to get another ecu and test it...i had the same proble....if you look under the dash on the passenger side...right up under the glovebox by the dash mounting bracket there is a sensor...that will be your pa sensor...i swapped mine out like 6 times, and in the end i got a new ecu and it was fine. a new pa sensor will run you about 200.00 from dealer...check that part first and see if it helps...make sure if you change the sensor you reset the ecu...
thanx guys for all of your help. it just so happens that i dont even have a glovebox so that wont be in the way of me finding it. i have a spare Si ecu in my other crx so i'll put that in place of my current ECU and see what happens.

the sensor is inside the ecu, codes up after swaps usually. Can be fixed by cutting the wire at the ecu but I forget which one(s) it is... I know the guy that knows, il ask him. I did it and it fixed it w/ no other problems.
hmm its wierd.... yesterday all the time that i drove the check engine light didn't come on once. the ecu was still coding the 13 but no check light. hmm i'll still check that sensor and swap Si ecu's to see wuts up.

What the **** are you talking about... Cut a wire... How can that fix it... You are an idiot...
Now yeah, you really need to swap the ecu and see.
Try clearing the memory first.(remove power to the ecu) and see if it comes back. If so, then, i don't think you have a choice... if you want to fix it. Else, just leave it as is...

now thats not very nice.... you give an answer on how to fix it by doing it incorrectly and then you have the nerve to tell him to "f**k off"
you ARE an idiot... thats NOT how you fix a problem...
try to swap the ecu out... im not very familiar with this problem.
pull the ECU or Hazard fuse :can't remember which one: out of the main fuse box...engine bay.... for a few second and then replace it to see if the ecu refreshes wtihout the code.

ROFL by far the best advise so far on how to fix it!! Boy am I stupid, I should of tried this method.
How do you fix it then brainiac? You have obivously never had this problem or tried to troubleshoot it.... but what should I know I am just an idiot with no CEL and a 100% working swap and car.
I was just tring to give some honest advice for his problem and someone comes out and calls me an idiot. I don't even see why I bother posting anymore. Honda-tech just gets better and better by the second. Have fun trying to fix your code 13s.
