Default Question about converting from JRSC to Turbo

I have a 2000 GS-R and have had a JRSC installed for the last 2 years. I have decided to convert it to a turbo. I was just wondering if it is worth leaving the map controller installed until i get the hondata tuned?

Your Hondata dealer/tuner should be able to pre-load a turbo GSR base map that will cover you until you can get it to the dyno for a real tune. Just keep your foot out of it until you get it tuned specifically four your setup. That's what I did when I switched from JRSC to turbo and ot worked fine. No need to keep the MAP controller.
