Default Timing belt tensioner difference? Poor man's r help!

Is there a difference in size of the timing belt tensioner between a b16 and gsr. I am having problems with timing belt slap. With a b16 belt tensioner as tight as it can be, i still have a little belt slap at startup with the poor man's r swap. After driving it a little, i don't hear the slap anymore. I am using the gsr belt but I don't know why there is slap? Anyone else having this problem? Any advice. Thanks
