Default B16a2 engine questions

Ok i have a 92 civic h/b VX and i know a guy selling a 2nd gen b16, itr complete head, intake manifold, gsr tranny, p30 ecu, all the extra parts for the swap for 2400. is this a good deal/swap for my hatch? I really dont know much about the b16s in eg hatches so any help would be appriciated!

BTW what do you think it would run in my hatch?

The B16A2 engine uses pretty much an identical head and intake manifold as the Integra Type R B18c. I have one in my car. As to why a GSR tranny is used is beyond me. dont quote me on this but its no different to the stock B16A tranny anyway and shares the same 4.4 final drive.

OK now you have a cable tranny, this engine and running gear is hydo, so making it all work is another issue. It has been done but i'd look at a B16A with cable tranny. These are found in JDM EG civics and some early model CRX's

cheers,
Adam
