Default 98 conversion bumper light wiring

I did my 98 conversion on my 95 teg about a year ago and I just noticed something. My bumper lights, the bulbs, arent the same color and the dont blink at the same time. I know the 94-97 front have the alternating blinkers. So I was wondering is there any way to fix it so they light up the same color and blink the same time. One bulb is amber like the 98 up and the other is an off amber color, almost like its faded, but there brand new bulbs. Can someone help please?? TIA

I have a 00. My bulbs are clear, 1157 in front for the blinker and 168 for the side marker.

If you mean the front is a different color than the side, that shouldn't happen. The plastic is all the same amber color, and the bulbs should be clear. Only the front bulb should blink, the sidemarker stays on solid if the lights are on.

Can you elaborate a little? I'm not sure I understand what you mean.

I rewired mine some time ago (before doing the 98 conversion) to act like the 98+ bumper lights do, simply because I didn't like the alternating blinkers while having the OEM fender sidemarkers at the same time. I can't remember exactly, but you should be able to just cut the power wire coming out of the wedge bulb harness and connect it straight to the low filament wire on the 1157 socket. That way the 194 wedge bulb will act as parking light only, no matter if the turn signal is on or off, or if the parking lights are on or off.
