seatbelt problem

Default seatbelt problem
my friends 00 civic sedan's seatbelts like to pop out of no where. like when i'm driving or when she is, the seatbelt would be securely locked but just outta the blue it would pop back out. whats up with that?

its not a civic...its probably an american car...please check the registration

Did you check for recalls. It's a fairly new car, maybe the dealership will take care of it for free.
