I have been hearing a lot about advancing your timing and good stuff about it. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about it, pros/cons, and how the hell you do it. Thanks!

you can adjust your base timing by the distributor.

Advancing the ignition on a stock car would start burning the mixture earlier, and therefore possibly more efficiently.
